Red Reishi, scientifically known as Ganoderma lucidum, is a type of mushroom that has been revered for its potential health benefits in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Also known as Lingzhi in Chinese, this mushroom is characterized by its vibrant red color and glossy appearance. Red Reishi is believed to contain various bioactive compounds, including polysaccharides and triterpenes, which are thought to contribute to its potential health-promoting properties.
This mushroom is often associated with immune system support, stress reduction, and overall well-being. It is commonly consumed in various forms, such as extracts, supplements, or as an ingredient in herbal teas. When used in traditional medicine, Red Reishi is typically regarded as an adaptogen, helping the body adapt to stress and maintain balance.
Liquid cultures are often considered superior to spore solutions because they result in faster mushroom colonization and offer genetic consistency by using actively growing mycelium instead of individual spores.
Storage
Please keep your spores in the fridge between 2-8c to ensure they stay fresh and viable for your studies. They can be kept for up to three months in these conditions prior to being viewed. We would recommend taking them out 12 hours prior to studying them so they can acclimatize to room temperature.

The Syringe Itself/ What you will receive
All our spore syringes are carefully packed in the UK. To avoid premature injection during transit, the included needle is kept safely in the plastic packet and the syringe is secured with a syringe end cap. We do not include an alcohol swab as we do not want our customers to wipe the already sterile needle.
Please note all syringe needles come fully sterilized/gamma irradiated and any attempt to sterilize them further will most likely contaminate them.
