Peru is not only known for its rich cultural heritage, but also it’s centuries long-standing relationship with entheogenic plants. This strain has it’s roots deep in the world of shamanic rituals and spiritual practices within Peruvian traditions.
When mature, the caps of these mushrooms exhibit a light to medium brown colour, mixed with subtle tones of a golden caramel colour. The gills are richer in colour, transforming into a deep black to a plumb purple colour as they age.
These have well-known hallucinogenic properties when taken (not that we’d advise that) and like it’s past use in rituals, has been known to awaken memories, tastes and smells, and even past lives. This strain is not for the faint of heart.
