Ecuador Spore Syringe

Ecuador spores originate from Psilocybe cubensis specimens historically associated with the high altitude regions of Ecuador in South America.
These environments are known for their cooler temperatures and unique ecological conditions, which makes the lineage particularly interesting for microscopy study.

The Ecuador strain is widely recognised within the mycology community and is often included in collections that explore classic cubensis varieties from different parts of the world.
Collectors frequently compare it with other well known strains when studying regional diversity within the species.

Because the spores are typically clear and easy to observe under magnification, Ecuador is often recommended as a suitable option for beginners while still offering interesting material for experienced researchers.

Preparation

All spore syringes are prepared in the United Kingdom in sterile conditions using professional laboratory equipment.
Careful handling is still recommended when preparing slides or conducting microscopy work to maintain clean samples.

Storage

Store spores in the refrigerator between 2–8°C to maintain freshness and viability.
When stored correctly they can remain suitable for microscopy study for up to six months.

For best viewing results remove the syringe from the refrigerator around 12 hours before examination so it can gradually reach room temperature.

All needles are pre sterilised using gamma irradiation. Attempting to sterilise them again may introduce contamination and is not recommended.
