Costa Rica is a beautiful country in Central America, bordered by Nicaragua to the North, Panama to the Southeast, the Pacific Ocean to the West, the Caribbean Sea to the East, and Ecuador to the South of Cocos Island.
Being slap bang in the middle of mushroom central, these guys have evolved to grow in temps of 25-28C and fruit at 22-24C.
In their natural habitat, grains and horse manure are in abundance. The locals have also having great success farming these using cost-effective BRF bags.
The local tribes have used this species to call on their ancestors for guidance and courage but this strain can also make a grown man cry.
