Leucistic Burma Spore Syringe
Leucistic Burma spores originate from a rare leucistic variation of the classic Burma Psilocybe cubensis lineage.
The original Burma strain was reportedly discovered near Rangoon in Myanmar and introduced to the mycology community in the 1990s.
The leucistic variation displays reduced pigmentation compared to typical cubensis strains, which has made it particularly interesting to collectors studying genetic expression within the species.
Because of its unusual appearance and connection to the well known Burma lineage, Leucistic Burma spores are often included in microscopy collections examining mutations and variations within cubensis strains.
Storage
Store spores between 2–8°C in the refrigerator to maintain freshness. Properly stored spores remain viable for microscopy study for up to six months.
