Our PF Tek BRF Grow Bags are pre sterilised and ready to use, designed for reliable
Gourmet Health Mushroom cultivation. Known as BRF Cakes, these bags contain a nutrient rich
brown rice flour substrate that makes mushroom growing simple and effective. Just inject with spores and
let the mycelium thrive.

Recommended Use

We recommend 2.5ml of Gourmet Health Mushroom spores per BRF Grow Bag.
Spores are not included and must be purchased separately.

How to Fruit Your BRF Cakes

1. Add perlite and water to your fruiting chamber (1–2 litres depending on chamber size).
2. Soak colonised cakes in their bags for 24 hours with clean tap water.
3. Roll cakes in dry vermiculite to encourage healthy pinning.
4. Place each cake on foil inside your chamber.
5. Mist and fan 2–3 times daily to maintain humidity and airflow.
6. Harvest when veils begin to break for best results.
