APE (Albino Penis Envy) Revert spores are a genetic variation of the Albino Penis Envy (APE) strain of Psilocybe cubensis, a psychoactive mushroom. APE itself is a mutated version of the Penis Envy strain, known for its potency and unique appearance. “Revert” refers to spores that have reverted to a more typical Psilocybe cubensis morphology while retaining some characteristics of the APE strain. These spores are commonly used by mycologists and mushroom cultivators for study and research. They have been found in cultivation rather than in the wild, as they are the result of selective breeding rather than natural occurrence.
In countries where it is legal to grow Psilocybe cubensis, APE Revert spores are considered easier to cultivate than the original APE strain but still slightly more challenging than standard cubensis varieties. Unlike APE, which grows slowly and produces smaller, denser mushrooms, APE Revert grows at a more typical rate, making it more accessible to cultivators.
Overall, APE Revert is a good choice for intermediate studiers looking for a balance between potency, speed, and yield from under the microscope.
Storage
Please keep your spores in the fridge between 2-8c to ensure they stay fresh and viable for your studies. They can be kept for up to six months in these conditions prior to being viewed. We would recommend taking them out 12 hours prior to studying them so they can acclimatize to room temperature.

The Syringe Itself
All our spore syringes are carefully packed in the UK. To avoid premature injection during transit, the included needle is kept safely in the plastic packet and the syringe is secured with a syringe end cap. We do not include an alcohol swab as we do not want our customers to wipe the already sterile needle.
Please note all syringe needles come fully sterilized/gamma irradiated and any attempt to sterilize them further will most likely contaminate them.
