Pack of 12 self adhesive sterile filter patched for mushroom cultivation. These pressure cooker safe filter patches are ideal for your grain and spawn jars.

These small, 0.22µm Synthetic Filter Discs are ideal for providing your projects with secure and safe air filtration. They measure 0.22 micron and are 20mm in size. On the back, you’ll find the temperature resistant, self-adhesive sticker ready to be placed where it’s needed.

Synthetic filters can be attached to your projects with ease. They are designed to be attached to the hole of your wide mouth canning jars. You must clean and dry the surface prior to sticking down your synthetic filter paper.

These Self-Adhesive Filter Patches for Spawn Jars are simple and easy to use ensuring that both beginners and experienced mycologists alike will find installing these a breeze. Ensuring your jars stay free from contamination by establishing a wall of 0.2micron wide, protected holes for your projects to breathe through whilst remaining free from contaminants.

How to Use:

We recommend using a 8mm-13mm drill bit to make a nice clean hole in the lid of your selected jar.

Ensure you carefully remove any sharp metal around the hole as this could cause damage to your filter patches or prevent it from sticking in place.

Use an 70% alcohol swab to clean the area around the hole, leaving this to dry before continuing.

Once the surface is dry, you are free to peel the backing off of the synthetic filter disc. Apply the filter to the hole and press down firmly to ensure the adhesive makes a good seal.

Although these filters are water resistant, it is best to keep away from direct water contact.
