At Shiny Spores, we take pride in providing high-quality, laboratory-tested spores and sterilized grow kits to ensure viability for your gourmet mushroom cultivation. Due to the sensitive nature of our products, we have specific return and refund guidelines:

Returns and Cancellations

Mushroom Grow Kits & Equipment: Unopened and unused kits and accessories can be returned within 14 days of delivery.


Spore Products: Our spores are rigorously tested before shipping. Due to their nature, we cannot accept returns. If your spores appear defective or contaminated, contact us within 7 days.


Order Cancellations: If you change your mind, notify us within 24 hours of purchase for a guaranteed cancellation. If you've already received your order but haven't opened or used it, you may return it within 14 days, at your own expense.


Non-Returnable Items: Opened or used items, consumables, and products not purchased directly from our website cannot be returned.

Refunds and Replacements

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect your return.


If an item is defective or incorrect, contact us within 7 days with photos. We may offer a replacement or store credit.


Returns after 14 days are generally not accepted, but we will assess each case individually.


Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Lost, Misdelivered or Stolen Packages

If your order is delayed or lost, check tracking first, then contact us for help.


If a package is marked as delivered but missing, contact the courier to file a report.


If items are stolen after delivery, we are not responsible—please follow up with the courier for claims.

Contaminated Grow Kits or Spores

Our mushroom grow kits are sterilized at high temperatures to ensure viability and quality. However, if your kit becomes contaminated within 14 days of starting the grow process, we will review your setup and offer a one-time replacement if best practices were followed.

Provide Details: Send clear photos of the contamination and describe your growing setup (temperature, humidity, and sanitation measures).


Review & Guidance: Our team will assess the issue and provide troubleshooting support.


Approval & Replacement: If eligible, we will send a one-time replacement (shipping fees may apply in some cases). Improper setup or external contamination may disqualify you from a replacement.
