1. Returns and Cancellations
Mushroom Grow Kits & Equipment:
Unopened and unused kits and accessories can be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Spore Products:
Due to the sensitive nature of spores and the likelihood of cross contamination, we cannot accept returns once dispatched.
If your spores appear defective or contaminated, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photographs and a description of the issue.
Order Cancellations:
If you change your mind, notify us within 24 hours of purchase for a guaranteed cancellation.
If your order has already been shipped, unopened items may be returned within 14 days, at your own expense.
Non-Returnable Items:
Opened or used items, consumables, or any products not purchased directly from our website cannot be returned.
2. Refunds and Replacements
Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days (Monday–Friday) after we receive and inspect the returned items.
Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method.
(Note: If you placed your order under a pseudonym, refunds must still be processed to the original payment account details.)
Refund Conditions:
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
- Returns requested after 14 days are generally not accepted but will be reviewed individually.
3. Lost, Misdelivered, or Stolen Packages
If your order is delayed or missing, please first check tracking information and contact the courier.
If a package is marked as delivered but missing, it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the courier and file a claim. Shiny Spores is not responsible for packages stolen after delivery has been confirmed by the courier.
4. Contaminated Grow Kits or Spores
Our mushroom grow kits are sterilised at high temperatures to ensure maximum quality. If your kit shows contamination within 14 days of starting the grow process, we may offer a one-time replacement after reviewing your setup and process.
Steps to Request a Replacement:
- Contact Us: Contact us within 14 days of starting your setup using our contact page.
- Provide Details: Submit clear photographs of the contamination and a description of your growing setup (temperature, humidity, sanitation practices).
- Review & Guidance: Our team will assess your setup and provide troubleshooting support.
- Approval & Replacement: If best practices were followed and contamination is deemed manufacturer-related, a one-time replacement will be offered. Shipping fees may apply. Improper setup or external contamination may disqualify eligibility.
