Golden Teacher Spores

So our most popular product golden teacher spores deserves a blog post. Why? Because I want more people to buy them silly! That’s the purpose of these blogs, to help our websites rank higher in Google for selected keywords. That’s why some of the sentences in my blogs don’t make sense. I always fill blog posts with informative content that you may not have already known but yeah, you get the gist!

As you can see in the image above, Golden Teacher mushrooms can be characterised by their golden cap. They are quite similar to the Golden Halo magic mushroom.

Golden Teacher Magic Mushroom Spore Size

So Golden Teacher spores look like any other spores such as the magic mushroom spores uk we sell in a syringe. Spores are microscopic and individual spores cannot be seen by the naked eye. This is why sometimes you may notice that your syringe looks empty. It’s not.

Golden Teacher Spores Size Example

It’s just that some syringes contain black bits which you think are individual spores when in fact, you’re looking at hundreds of thousands of spores. I couldn’t think of an image that represented hundreds of thousands because I’m shite at blogging. I chose a picture of hundreds & thousands, does that count??

What does wiki say about golden teachers?

Golden Teachers are a Psilocybe Cubensis species which Wikipedia defines as “Psilocybe cubensis is a species of psychedelic mushroom whose principal active compounds are psilocybin and psilocin.” They are a magic mushroom with potency less of what you would find with Liberty Cap mushrooms. It’s the most common type of magic mushroom. It can be grown in the UK and is known for its quite forgiving nature, in growing compared to some other species.

We have a few different guides on how to grow magic mushrooms on our website depending on the tek (technique) you want to use. For example, if you look at the all in one magic mushroom grow kit we sell. You’ll will notice that the instruction will be different from the first link in this paragraph. That’s because different teks require different approaches.

What’s it like to trip on Golden Teachers?

Golden Teacher magic mushrooms are a great mushroom for newbies looking to dip their toe in the water. A typical first dose would be around 2 grams. This is 2 grams dry, not wet. By wet we mean fresh, not dried or dehydrated. The general rule of the thumb is your fresh weight will equal around 10% dry. If you have 100g of fresh mushrooms, it equates to around 10g of dried mushrooms. This is because mushrooms are 90% water.

So the trip can be a spiritual experience where many people report being taught things about their lives. Whether this is how much of an arse hole you are, or issues you have from childhood that need resolving. The mushrooms will teach you! Not necessarily the first time you take them, but the more you take mushrooms, the more you will see that they can be used to improve your life in many ways!

How long does a Golden Teacher magic mushroom trip last?

Golden Teacher magic mushrooms can take a good hour or so to kick in with the trip piquing at around 3 hours. The come up from Golden Teachers is gradual and you will get nice visuals at around 3g or so. Due to some medication I take, I need to take larger doses of 10g+ to get the effects of around 3g. I will talk more about the medication I take and how it can counteract hallucinogenic drugs in another blog post later on.

How to grow Golden Teachers

Growing any psilocybe cubensis mushroom will be the same 99% of the time. The first thing you want to do is figure out what tek you want to follow. Whether this is Uncle Bens Tek, PF Tek, Popcorn Tek or any other tek. It’s important to note that growing magic mushrooms is an illegal activity in many countries, including the UK so please check the laws of your country/city/state before doing so.

Total newbie here to growing. I’m a big fan of liberty cap and fly agaric, but I’ve not done either in 30 years as I have a job where it would be sackable if I do. I decided to dip my toe into growing and got golden teacher (start small and work out from there). How forgiving is the process for a beginner who’s watched blogs and read up, but is still a newbie.

I bought the inoculation bag (all in one grow bag) but it seems tight. Do I leave it to develop the mycelium before breaking it?

I have bought a growbag, I thought I would start small. I am not sure though that I have bought the best medium for it.
